Event Horizon
“one could well say of the event horizon what the poet dante said of the entrance to Hell: “all hope abandon, ye who enter here”. Anything or anyone who falls through the event horizon will soon reach the region of infinite density and the end of time”
“It means that the boundary of the black hole, The event horizon, is formed by the paths in space-time of rays of light that just fail to get away from the black hole, hovering forever just on the edge”
“another way of seeing this is that the event horizon, the boundary of the black hole, is like the edge of a shadow. . the shadow of impending doom”
Stephen Hawking
So I have not fallen wholly into the abyss of the Black Hole but am hovering on the Event Horizon like a ray of light that is caught but not sucked in and teetering forever on the edge of CHAOS in a state of perpetual disarray, of entropy – and I wonder would it not be better to cross that threshold once and for all and let myself slip from the turmoil of the edge, of the Event Horizon into the crushing blackness and become one with the singularity where the laws that govern our universe cease to apply
.
Black Hole
Not all vortices are gateways to other dimensions.
Sometimes they are Black Holes created by the implosion of a star.
When there is too much gravity in a star, when the gravity is greater than the energy created by the star’s nuclear reactions the star collapses into a Black Hole – an intense crushing gravity filled hole in space without light because light cannot escape the gravity.
I am a Black Hole today – be careful not to get sucked in.
